BM1 – Force Enchanter Guide

Force Blader’s BM1 – Force Enchanter in my opinion is the strongest BM1 in all CABAL Online classes.  But unlike other Battle Modes, Force Enchanter requires other skills to be powerful.

It is extremely important for Force Bladers to have these magic skills:

 Lightning Cannon increases attack.

Aqua Cannon boosts HP and MP.

 Stone Cannon increases defense.

Wind Cannon increases attack rate and defense rate.

BM1 also relies on your magic attack. Higher magic attack means stronger BM1. As for Rising Force patch, adding points to dexterity(DEX) no longer increase your magic attack. We will now have to rely on secondary weapon (Orb/Crystal) grade and enchant level for magic attack bonus (essence runes and external buffs also applies).

Rising Force Update

Rising Force may have nerfed Force Bladers a bit (as a part of the rebalancing), we can only use one root skill at time and if resisted, it puts the skill on cool time. Also, as I have mentioned, adding points to DEX no longer increase magic attack.

What is cool about the Rising Force update for Force Bladers is that we now have an astral passive skill just like Force Archers and Force Shielders.

BM1 removes all your self buffs including blade enchants  and replace it with the strongest magic skill(the cannons) which reduces our critical rate and damage, but because of Astral Enhancement, with Killian’s Ring we can still have 36% critical rate. We only need to replace one of our rings with Ring of Luck +2 or just cast Battle Aura to get back to 50% critical rate.

Tips

Equip the highest grade Orb/Crystal as possible.

Blade enchant effect is removed when in Force Enchanter mode. Penetration, damage reduce and accuracy from blade buff is also removed. But because of Astral Enhancement, you don’t have to worry about the lost stats.

In the previous patches, it was necessary to cast Battle Aura before Force Enchanter for stronger BM1 and additional critical rate. Battle Aura adds a little magic attack which in turn strengthen your BM1. With Rising Force patch, because of Astral Enhancement, it is not necessary to cast Battle Aura before Force Enchanter.  Instead of casting Battle Aura before BM1, use it to extend BM1’s duration.

Blade style, blade buff, enchant, what ever you call them, they are all the same. Rising Force episode offers much more exciting builds and techniques with our revamped blade buff effects.

There are 4 facts about our new blade style effects that you should know:

First: Each blade style has a unique effect

When you hover your mouse over the blade style icon, you will see that each blade style has a unique stat.

 Fire Blade grants 50 penetration.

Ice Blade grants 100 damage reduction.

 Lightning Blade grants 500 accuracy.

Second: Blade style affects Art of Curse

Depending on your active blade style, when you hover your mouse over the Art of Curse icon, you will also see a unique effect.

 + Reduce target’s defense by 20%.

 + Reduce target’s attack by 300.

+ Additional 80% chance to silence your target for 4 secs.

Third: Each blade style grants a unique effect on some of your attack skills

This one is not so obvious. Depending on your blade style, when you hover your mouse over some of your attack skills you will find an additional effect.

Observe Assassinate’s text description with each screenshot

Fire Blade – Defense Reduction

Ice Blade – Attack Reduction

Lightning Blade – Defense Rate Reduction

Attack skills that are affected by your active blade style are:

  Assassinate

  Infernal Impact

 Seal of Damnation

Fourth: Blade style affects BM3 – Sword Splitter Split Attacks

Depending on your blade style, when you hover your mouse over the Split Attack (A or B) icon, you will also find a very interesting special effect.

Observe text description with each screenshot

Force Blader Passive Skills Guide

Below is the list of recommended passive skills:

Depending on your stat allocation (STR, INT, DEX) you can follow the usual build or the alternate build. Strength (STR) build Force Bladers are becoming popular because of HP and damage reduction bonus from each point you add to strength. With Ice Blade, Warrior-like damage reduction is achievable but with damage output penalty from Fire Blade penetration, attack rate, defense rate and evasion penalty from dexterity (DEX).

When you go strength build, you become tougher but you tank damage instead of evading it. Your attack will miss or get blocked but you can use Lightning Blade for accuracy which slightly reduce your damage. In duels you can use Fire Blade (you will combo anyway) making strength build efficient.

With dexterity build, you’re a bit squishy but you evade and block damage more than strength build. You can risk using Fire Blade for extra damage without stressing your attack rate so you don’t miss a lot. In duels, you are softer and dies quicker than strength build Force Bladers.

I’ll say, learn Defensive Sense if you want to go strength build and Reflex if you’re going dexterity build.

You may learn Ruling Force instead of Sixth Sense for stronger BM1 – Force Enchanter mode. Force Enchanter bonus is dependent on magic attack, so if you learn Ruling Force you will notice that your BM1 is a little bit stronger.

I prefer Sixth Sense over Ruling Force since you can’t use BM1 every now and then. BM1 is only useful during Mission War, mass PK and Mission Battles but if you’re not in BM1 mode, Ruling Force is useless.

Just max these skills.

Tip:

Always have your friends buff you. We only have 1 active buff  (blade buff) or 2 if you learn Regeneration. We still have plenty of slots for other buffs. Party with Warriors and Force Archers a lot.

Force Blader Sub Skills Guide
Posted by Mr. Vandom on April 7, 2013
Posted in: Sub Skills Build. Leave a comment
You can only learn up to 16 sub skills, Fade Step and Dash are not included in this list (of course you should learn them).

Here is the list of the sub skills you shouldn’t miss to learn.

Add extra care when using these skills, they are now synced. Before we have two root skills, single targeted Execration and multiple targeted Field of Execration rooting your target up to 40 secs. Now we can only root up to 20 secs because of the sychronization. When you use Execration, Field of Execration becomes unavailable for the duration of Execration’s cool time and vice versa.

This is the first disadvantages for Force Bladers this EP10 – Rising Force. When you cast Field of Execration you will not be able to root targets for 3 mins! So be more wise when using these skills.

Second disadvantage is that when these skills fail (resisted by resist unable to move) they become unavailable. During the previous episodes, when root is resisted you can still use it until it succeeds. Luckily the cool time is reduced by 50% when it fails.

You can leave this skill at level 9 has just enough duration time for your Execration – Darkness combo. Use this on Force Archer and Wizards in Mission War mass PK so that they will move closer to the crowd.

Execration – Darkness Combo

Execration and Darkness are partner skills because Darkness is useless without Execration.

After Execration succeeds, move away from your target then cast Darkness. This will reduce your target’s ranged by 2 disabling their short range attacks. You can then cast other debuffs safely without getting attacked. Effective against short ranged classes.

These skills are used to weaken your opponents. Use this in this sequence to maximize defense reduction.

Always cast Hard Luck on your opponents, this will increase your critical chance and damage on them.

Lower Defense is not as strong as Hard Luck but with 0.9 casting time, it doesn’t hurt to cast this skill. Defense reduction also stacks with Fire Blade’s defense down effect on some skills. Penetration also reduces defense, a good combination with defense reduction. Use this twice on opponents with Curse Dodge (Blader’s skill) to remove it.

Enervation is a monster only skill, you can’t use this on players.

This skill reduces your target’s all over stats. Cast this on your target before any attack for extra damage (HP being removed from your target does not return when debuff duration expires).

Field of Enervation, one of our ultimate debuffs. Just like Enervation this skill reduces your target’s all over stats, the difference is that it can be applied on players.

This is a multiple targeted skill affecting all enemies within the area of your target. It weakens your target greatly making them so squishy and easy to kill. Only use this skill when in trouble or when fighting multiple enemies.

Force Enchanter and Field of Execration – Field of Enervation Technique

When fighting multiple enemies activate BM1 – Force Enchanter. Make sure you are away from battle when you activate BM1 so you can regenerate yourself to full health. Dash to your enemies and cast Field of Execration and  Field of Enervation simultaneously then combo them to death.

Mana Freeze is one of our ultimate debuffs but its effectiveness was greatly reduced after Soul and Siena patch. At max level, Mana Freeze reduces your target’s maximum MP by 1400. If your target have MP below 1400, they will be unable to use any skills that requires MP for 10 secs.

After Soul and Siena patch when Essence Runes was released, players began learning MP runes which increases their maximum MP by 250 points. With MP Mastery upgrade, they can make their MP over 1400 making them immune to Mana Freeze.

Beside that, players with MP not exceeding 1600 MP are still vulnerable to Mana Freeze with Field of Enervation – Mana Freeze combo.

Field of Enervation – Mana Freeze Combo

Players with MP over 1400 are immune to Mana Freeze, but with Field of Enervation, even players with 1600 MP are still vulnerable to it.

Field of Enervation reduces your opponent’s all stats reducing their maximum MP below 1400 making them vulnerable to Mana Freeze. But players with over 1600 MP are completely immune to it.

Art of Curse is our new ultimate debuff reducing your target’s resistance by 50% for 12 secs with unique effect depending on your blade style.

Fire Blade adds additional -20% defense reduction on Art of Curse.

Ice Blade reduces your targets attack by 300.

Lightning Blade has 80% chance to silence your target for 4 secs.

Use Fire Blade effect on dungeon bosses and soft classes like Force Archer and Wizard. Lightning Blade effect is very effective on 1 on 1 fights disabling your opponents combo.

Blade Styles

Fire Blade increases penetration reduces your opponents defense making your attacks much stronger. Use this buff on duels and dungeon hunting.

Ice Blade increases damage reduction making you tougher. The damage reduction bonus is not that perceptible (unless you have really good defense) so I don’t use this style often.

Lightning Blade in my personal opinion is still the best style increasing your accuracy by 500 and 20% chance to silence players for 2 seconds on BM3 and BM2 basic attacks. Effective on Mission Wars.

Force Blader Attack Skills Guide
Posted by Mr. Vandom on April 6, 2013
Posted in: Attack Skills Build. Leave a comment
Here is the list of Force Blader attack skills. Since the introduction of the new skills, Quake Cataclysm and Art of Curse, we now lack skill points to learn other skills so I made some adjustments so we don’t waste skill points to wrong skills. I suggest you also follow my sub skills and passive skills guide.

Force Blader Attack Skills

Nothing is changed with the way Force Enchanter works, so max these 4 cannons to get the highest bonus possible from your BM1. We don’t use these skills for attacking, they are just there for the bonuses they give to Force Enchanter mode. Besides, we already have 2 ranged skills (Seal of Damnation and Quake Cataclysm) which is more than enough to defend yourself in case you get rooted by other Force Bladers.

For those with no idea to how Force Enchanter works, it goes like this. When you activate BM1 all your exclusive buff skills are replaced by the strongest magic skill you have with regards to its element. Wind Movement from its name “wind” gets replaced with Wind Arrow, Lance or Cannon. If you have multiple magic skill with wind element, only the strongest skill will be applied, in that case, Wind Cannon. Same goes for the rest, Earth Guard get replaced by stone magic skill, Aqua Vitality with water element skill and your blade buff with fire, ice or lightning element. Just to make it simple:

Fire Blade, Ice Blade or Lightning Blade gets replaced by Lightning Cannon : Attack bonus.
Aqua Vitality with Aqua Cannon: HP and MP bonus.
Earth Guard with Stone Cannon: Defense bonus.
Wind Movement with Wind Cannon: Defense rate and attack rate bonus.
Note: You cannot use Elemental Enchant in Force Enchanter mode. Art of Curse’s defense reduction, attack reduction or silence effect (depending on your active blade buff) won’t be applied in Force Enchanter mode. Therefore, if you cast Art of Curse, only the stun, down and knock-back resist reduction will be applied.

This skill has really short cast time, although deals lesser damage than Seal of Damnation, I prefer to use this over the other. Quake Cataclysm > Fade Step > Seal of Damnation.

This skill has a special effect. It reduces your opponents resistance to criticals by 10% giving your next attacks higher critical chance and damage for 5 secs. It has a very huge area of effect which makes it ideal in Mission Wars.

Our strongest attack skill. The chasing effect can buy you some time to escape (if the timing is right, your opponent will chase you unable to attack).

Infernal Impact is one of our best attack skill (in terms of damage, second to Assassinate). Not very ideal in Mission war due to long cast time. Avoid using this in mass PK.

Force Kick is very useful when chasing targets, charging quickly into battle and a good burst damage when combined with other skills (Force Kick > Stab > Assassinate). I suggest you make a special key for this skill and get familiar with that key. You will not use this skill with your normal combo so will need to press this quickly. I used ‘R’ for this skill.

I personally love this skill. Has very low cast time and quite good damage. Insert this in your combo between other skills to add additional damage. For example, Stab > Assassinate > Quake > Stab > etc. It really helps if you get unlucky not landing a critical hit on your major skills.

Force Assault, Force Slash and Infernal Impact are excellent addition to your arsenal. Don’t forget to add this to your Mission War and Mission Battle combo. Remember that HP down is multiplied by how many times your HP is raised. For example, on 190 bracket Mission War your HP is raised by 800% (x8), HP down is also raised by 800% .

This skill can help you chase other Force Bladers and Bladers when they use Assassinate and Lightning Slash.
